Description
Abalinio is based on one of the old African Mancala games which have been around for hundreds of years. The name Abalinio is derived of the Spanish Abalón (Pearl). Like in chess and similar board games players take turns. To win one must push 6 of the opponents game pieces off the board.
Abalinio features a hexagonal board which allows game pieces to move in 6 directions. A very basic move consists of two actions - tapping the game piece once to highlight it and then tapping an adjacent field or game piece to indicate the moves direction. A player can move up to 3 balls which in turn can push up to 2 of the opponents balls. In order to move the opponents game pieces one must have the higher line strength - i.e. 3 balls can push 2. So-called fliche moves are also supported. These can only be executed into empty fields.
In Settings you have the choice between two basic styles for Abalinio - the standard style and the split configuration shown above. Furthermore there are three difficulty settings. The games AI is pretty strong, so you might want to start out with an easy settings. Also available here is a preference for which color stones youd like to use. Remember - in this game orange gets the first move. Last but not least, you can turn off the sound for this game with the Sound switch.
Abalinio is deceptive in its simplicity and one is well advised to keep the goal of the game in mind. It is easy to start out with a lead and still lose in a matter of a couple of moves. Give it a try. Abalinio is a marvellous strategy game and a great way to pass time.

Tolles Spiel, macht echt Spaß! Allerdings ist die leichteste Spielstufe schon recht knackig. Nur 4 Sterne, weil man das Spiel leider nicht gegeneinander spielen kann.
gutes spiel,
aber den 5. Stern gibts erst wenn man zu zweit spielen kann. Desweiteren ist selbst der leichteste Schwierigkeitsgrad relativ schwer. Sicherlich würde es das finden der App erleichtern wenn die App Abalone (wie das gleichnamige "brettspiel") heißen würde ;-)
Gute App - zu hoher Schwierigkeitsgrad
Die App ist einfach und intuitiv zu bedienen. Das einfachste Level ist für mich nicht zu knacken. Wie wäre es, das Niveau wirklich auch an Anfänger, wie man es durch den Namen "light" auch vermutet, anzupassen? Das senkt den Frustrationsgrad. Nie zu gewinnen, macht auf Dauer leider keinen Spaß und ich empfehle es deswegen nicht weiter. Ich freue mich, wenn diese Anregung Anstoß findet.
Super umgesetzt!
Sowohl Steuerung als auch Schwierigkeitsgrad sind meiner Meinung nach gut. Im Split Mode ist es sogar etwas leichter. Vielen Dank für das super Spiel! 5 Sterne bei Multiplayer. :)
Nichts
Zu meckern habe ich. Alles läuft wie es soll. Prima Führung der Spielkugeln, und das erste Spiel durfte ich auch gewinnen! Und wenn Abalone darüber stehen würde. hätte ich es noch früher gefunden. Wie man an anderen Rezensionen erkennen kann, geht es vielen so. Kann mir aber vorstellen, das es rechtliche Probleme gibt!

Lässt sich gut spielen, Steuerung Super...bitte stärkere Gegner, selbst der stärkste ist noch zu leicht! Multiplayer wäre perfekt, das man über gamecenter mit anderen spielen könnte...wohl aber nur ein Traum :( andere startformationen wären auch schön, wie beim richtigen abalone :-)
