Im planning on taking the ACSM exam soon, but really havent started studying yet. So this app has been great for gauging my knowledge. I like that there is a cross reference tool to help if you need it. Portable test prep at its best

Great portable test prep.
Good range of questions
Some of the questions could be written better but all in all a good app. Very comprehensive and is good that it mirrors the text .

This app is fantastic. I take my ACSM CPT exam tomorrow and feel very confident in my skills and knowledge. After searching for other practice exams other than the one ACSM offers (which I took so many times I practically memorized), I only found exams for other organizations which made me feel really unintelligent. Other organizations test you on other information so its a waste of time to take their exams. I found this app and the questions are practically taken verbatim from the book. Its such a good representation of the information we have to read. I feel very confident in my skills and knowledge for tomorrows test. One of the downsides is that the app does not test you on the formulas we have to know as trainers (HR, VO2max, MET, etc.) so make sure you study up on those on your own!
So-So
I just took my ACSM CPT exam today and after completing the test All i can say is that this app did not accurately portray the exam, did not help me prepare for the actual exam questions, nor did it portray the wording of questions or layout of the exam. This app is more of a vocabulary and concept review tool and is missing a lot of important ACSM content and concepts that should be included in the app. Overall it was very helpful in reviewing and familiarizing with the vocab and general concepts of the ACSM CPT exam, but it is missing a lot info that could better prepare someone for the exam. P.S. Definitely not worth the $10
CPT exam prep
There have been a few questions on this app that give a different answer from the book.
I took the exam and wasted my $279.00
I just tested for my CPT and fell on my face this app was garbage in preparation for the exam. I have memorized all the questions and have reviewed all my study materials but this app was the greatest wast of my resources. approximately 30% of similar questions were seen on the exam. Dont buy this app its a waste. I have no idea how to explain the difference from the exam compared to the questions utilized but this app definitely didnt help, so farewell to the 279 dollars spent to take this exam.
