While it does work offline, usable street-level data are included only for the heart of Port-au-Prince. When you leave there, you will have only the most general idea of where you are in the country.

Best map I could count on in PAP
Last Feb/Mar (2013) I searched for really good/useful paper or digital road or street maps of Haiti and Port-au-Prince (PAP) but they seemed nonexistent or in very short supply while in Haiti. Haiti Offline was a very good and my most useful map reference for PAP. I could count on it to get and keep my bearings. It was offline, and right in my iPod and pocket for reference anytime, anywhere in PAP.
Worthless
This app seems to be useful only to give an overview. The tracking circle never moves.
