I wanted to learn how to tie some basic knots for use around the house and when loading things at hardware stores. The animations are easy to follow and the interface is nice and simple. If you want to learn a few "must have" knots this is for you.

Nicely Done!
Nice UI
I have looked at other apps with knot diagrams and have not been able to make sense of them. This app uses very easy to follow in-app videos of creating a variety of knots. I can easily make knots following this Also provides info about common uses for knots so I can find the knot that will work for me. Love it!
a bit disappointing
I was disappointed to see that the description of the knot was not the step by step directions that are on the website; its more about the history of the knot or general use which Im really not interested in when Im trying to tie a know; I just wanted to see the step by step directions in addition to the animation; please add the step by step text directions and this app will become great
Animated knots review
Animated knots has a good dictionary of knots. However, the animations are not useful in that as soon as the animation is over, the app jumps back to the knot list. There is no way to compare the knot you have tied with the animated result. If you wanted to repeat the animation, you would need to reselect it from the list in order to run it again, with the same result; jumps back to the list rather than allowing you to view the tied knot. Would not recommend this app at this point.
