wru (where ru?) is a free location sharing app that will let you request a person’s mapped location, or share your own current mapped location, all via text message!
Request: If you want to know exactly where someone is currently at, wru send will send them a text message that reads, “hey wru?” The text message, which can be edited, will also have a link the text recipient can tap so they can easily text you back their current mapped location.
Share: If you want to share your own current location with someone who doesnt know where you’re at, or how to get there, just open the app and tap ‘Share’. A text message will be generated and it too will contain a link that shows your current location on a map.
