STORY
While traveling from Liverpool to New York, your ship was pulled down into a massive maelstrom. You woke up in a place that may have never been gazed upon by the eyes of men. From now on, your goal is to ascend from the bowels of the Earth and return to civilization.

Enjoy dozens of exciting levels with varying gameplay in the Story Mode. Your story, drawing inspiration from Jules Verne, is told with gorgeous full screen animated scenes and professional voice overs. Experience awe and wonder as the eight fantastic scenes change as you move through them.
Azkend 2: The World Beneath features several different and exciting level types. The game features nearly twenty unique powerups and more than a dozen achievements. Choose your powerups wisely for each level to hasten your journey.
The game includes two challenge game modes, Time and Medals. The Time challenge is a bite-sized two minute game where you must score as many points as possible to gain fame on the Game Center leaderboards. In Medals challenge get to replay all the levels from Story Mode and attempt to earn a medal from each one.

Ich hatte schon das erste Azkend heiß und innig geliebt und sehnsüchtig auf eine neue Version gewartet. Endlich ist sie da! Spiel macht mir riesig Spaß, dazu exzellente Grafik und passender Sound. Und das alles zum fairen Preis, danke!
Der erste Teil ist viel besser
Dieses Spiel shuffled sich mal ins Koma. Echt unmöglich.... Die Entwickler legten nur Wert auf Optik und Sound. Einfach schade.
Universal gut!
Das erste Azkend (z.Zt. übrigens gratis) war damals ein hübsches Vorzeigeapp, um die spielerischen Vorteile des vor ein paar Jahren noch neuartigen Touchscreens zu demonstrieren. Mittlerweile gibt es natürlich viele Match-3-Spiele, die sich des gleichen Prinzips bedienen und auch mit schöner Grafik und opulentem Orchester-Soundtrack aufwarten. Man erhält hier also Bewährtes mit ein paar originellen Powerups und sonstigen Neuerungen, wie z.B. die lästigen Käfer, die man wegbruzzeln muss, bevor sie den oberen Spielfeldrand erreichen. Weshalb ich dennoch fünf Sterne vergebe, ist die Tatsache, dass man hier zum fairen Preis eine Universalapp erhält, die nicht nur mein iPad 2 unterstützt, sondern auch noch tadellos auf dem drei Jahre alten iPod Touch 2G funktioniert. Das kommt mittlerweile bei ambitionierten Spielen eher selten vor- daher ein dickes Lob an die Entwickler.
