Best MCAT Flashcard Set on App Store

Pros: General and Organic Chemical shows actual molecular formulas vs RCOOH; Concise content review; Easy to use; Easy to take with you on the go. Cons: No quiz option (wish they would ask basic non-passage based questions to practice and master the content.)

Student

Great app. Detailed but concise. I got the hard copies as well that are identical and both are very useful for studying on the go/whenever there is downtime. Only thing I would change is for there to be a way to skip to a section ie jump to the Chem section and to have a quiz option with cards u would like to go over. Thanks baron!

Perfect for on the go

Im not taking the mcat but I have to take an entrance exam for medicinal chemistry in grad school. I find that this app (gen/inorganic and organic chemistry parts) are to the point, easy to understand (as long as u have taken a class before hand) and provides good images to explain points. I find them much more useful in studying than my friends Kaplan flashcards and it is not as intimidating. All in all I love it!

Awesome!!

Only downside is there is no iPad or iphone 5 love, so it is a tad distorted. Other than that, best mcat review for apple products.

Somewhat disappointed

The cards are great and they really do help. Theres a lot of useful information and there doesnt seem to be any important subject missing. Its great on the go. However, there are somethings that are VERY disappointing with this app. You cannot choose to get random cards, only in order. I dont know how they could have released it without having a random card feature. Another thing thats annoying is that theres too much info on each card. Its like each card is a couple of cards in one. I would much rather have five times the amount of cards with the information split between them, than having a huge chunk of information on just one card. I only use this app when Im not busy and out. When Im home I much prefer the flashcards I made. All the information in the cards is top notch, definitely worthy of 5 stars, just those two annoyances really ruin my experience. I hope the developers read this and consider what I wrote because as of now it doesnt feel worth what I paid for.
