BoJ, as delivered, contains 500 fascinating photos of 100 wildlife birds in Jordan. The birds are already classified by folder but you can organise the Birds in/by your own folders, tags, colours and star ratings with no limitations.
Each Bird has attributes such as Name, Folder, Info, Colour Tags, Stars Rating, Tag/Icon, Wikipedia and Website URLs. The Birds view has 3 colour options for the card, container and background. You have total flexibility in how to make the app birds, and the photography, look and feel as you like.
The Zoom and Pan View offers zoom and pan on the photos for an intimate study.
Relax at the Lounge
The Lounge is where you can enjoy your cup of coffee/tea while browsing the complete photos collection, in Exhibition, Mosaic and Slideshow, and, when you feel like it, challenge your knowledge with not-so-easy light-hearted Quizzes and Threes.
Setup Your Folders
Add your own categories/folders, or use the pre-installed folders. You can attach a photo/image to the folder for a colourful presentation on the Folders table or details views. On the Folders table view, tap a folder row to show that Folder info (in Edit mode) or tap/touch the folder Birds icon to view the Folder Birds in a Table/List or Collection/Grid view
Choose Your Tags, Colours and Stars.
For each Bird you can choose an icon Tag, Stars rating (0 to 5) and/or Colour/Color sets (Any combination of 3 colors, including no colour/color). These options are all reflected in Queries, giving you (almost) unlimited choice of tags/stars/colours to classify your favourite Birds.
View the Birds.
On the Birds table/list view, there are 4 Photos Icons.
- Tap/touch the Photos List/Grid icon to display the Birds photos in a tabbed view (1st tab is a list view, 2nd tab is a collection/grid view).
- Tap/touch the Photos Carousel icon to display the Birds photos in a carousel view, swiping left or right to see next/previous bird photo.
- Tap/touch the Photos Cards icon to display the Birds photos in a cards view, tapping Next and Prev buttons to see next/previous bird photo within an animated sequence.
- Tap/touch the Photos Gallery icon to display the Birds photos in a gallery (scrollable) view, swiping left or right to see next/previous bird photo.
- On the List/Grid, Carousel and Cards views, tap/touch a bird photo to launch the Bird Photo Zoom & Pan view, where you can pinch (outwards) or double tap to Zoom In (reverse to Zoom Out). You can also tap and hold the screen to pan (move) the photo image in any direction.
- On the Gallery view, the photos are already in the Photo Zoom & Pan view, where you can pinch (outwards) or double tap to Zoom In (reverse to Zoom Out). You can also tap and hold the screen to pan (move) the photo image in any direction.
Edit the Birds.
On the Birds table/list view, tap/touch the bird row to display the Bird Edit view. Scroll up/down to see the complete list of attributes and change any desired attribute: folder, tag, rating stars, colours/colors, and so on. Please note that some attributes are not changeable by the user.
Query the Birds.
On the Queries view, a menu of queries is presented, covering all aspects of Birds of Jordan. You can query by folder, tag, ratings stars, etc. The Query View displays headers (of the query criteria) and the detailed bird records. Tap/touch any detailed bird record to launch the Bird Edit view. Any edits saved will be immediately reflected once the Query View is re-launched. The Queries are a powerful, comprehensive feature of Birds of Jordan.
