iPhone 5 optimization?
Is there ever going to be an upgrade to accommodate the iPhone 5s larger screen?
Frustrating user experience
The pop up ads are a major source of irritation and frustration; especially for a paid subscription. You dont find the FT or the NYT resorting to that to drive revenue growth. Its self defeating. Everyone else is minimizing clicks and making easier for users to get to the information they want. And perhaps charge for it. The BT is doing the exact opposite. Putting in a roadblock and reminding users what a hassle it is to use the paid app. Its sad because the content can be quite good, at times. The latest update is also "laggy" on the scroll function.
Buggy app...
I dont like the fact that ads are embedded in the news article itself, which limits reading space and proves too much of a distraction. Also, the app experience is very buggy to the point of irritating when it frequently syncs itself automatically or failed to download any content.
