Finally, a buzzer for the iPhone! This app turns you and your friends iPhones and iPod touches into game buzzers! Start up one device as the game Host, and add as many iPhones and iPod touches to the mix to have your own trivia party!

Each device becomes a buzzer and everyone will see who buzzed in first! Forget spending $20-$220 on expensive buzzer systems, just download the app from the App Store and start your own ad-hoc trivia games wherever you have a wireless network!

Version 2.0 allows for multiple choice questions and free response answers to be submitted!

Expandable to any number of buzzers. Requires one iPhone or iPod touch per buzzer.

NOTE: This application requires at least 3 devices on the same wireless network with the app installed. If multiple devices use the same iTunes account, this is supported and only one purchase is required!

Durchaus brauchbar

Sorry one star unless it actually....

Sorry one star unless it actually do what it promises and its a great promise. The promise is that you can conceivably play a board game, say like ... family feud. A buzzer would be ideal. Check. Well two buzzer. One per player. Check. A host controls the play. Check. Various play modes. Check. Actually works.... ahhh NO. First opening it asks if I want to"Host" or "play". Great. I pick host. Open next itouch. Start app. Pick "play".... nothing. Try several times. Fail. Now it asks me play 1. First to buzz 2. Multiple choice 3. Free response I select first to buzz. It says "waiting for players" Open other itouch. I get the same choices. I select first to buzz. Only now supposedly it still thinks I am "hosting" or something and says "waiting for players". Snafu. No cancel to restart from beginning. I will delete and reinstall and try again. If it fails again I want my money back. ############ Update. Deleted the app and reinstalled on both devices. It seem to be waiting for a question and likely the third participant. So Ill try it again with our third device. It it actually works. Ill raise the stars. Update 2 Just added the third person and it had three entirely different conditions. 1. Looking for players 2. Looking for host 3. Blank screen with no appropriate UI Fail.

Doesn

Tested with four different iPhones on three different wireless networks. Twice we got it working, but only for a couple minutes before the connections dropped. The phones were within feet of the access point and the only devices using the access point. App should also have some debugging/configuration settings to help it find devices correctly. Wasted $8 (four phones)

Almost useful

Can you add support for Bluetooth connection? Needing the wifi connection seems unnecessary.

poor app

The developers had good intentions but they got bored and worked on something else. The app has no reset ability, no way to discover new devices, and no help or information within the app. If it were free it wouldnt be worth it but charging $1.99 is criminal.

Worst game

Worst game ever got it to work the first day and then the next day it quit not worth what I paid for it

Good app

Works well and is worth the $2.
