Chinese checkers is a board game that can be played by two, three, four, or six people, playing individually or with partners. The game is a modern and simplified variation of Halma. Of equal importance are the players strategies for emptying and filling their starting and home corners. Games between experts are rarely decided by more than a couple of moves.
Differing numbers of players result in different game layouts. Each layout imposes a different best-game strategy. For example, if a players "home" or destination corner is empty (not an opponents starting corner), the player can freely arrange his/her pieces to serve as a ladder or bridge between the two opposite ends. But if a players opponent occupies the home destination corner, the player might be better advised to play a "waiting game" until all pieces have moved out.

The "regular price" of this app is listed as $1.99. I mention that because this supposedly paid app has ads. These ads can, at times, be distracting when they change mid-game. The game itself is your basic Chinese Checkers. It has a unique idea in that you can chose your opponents play-style (radical, rational, jumper, dull, master) or you can play against a human pass n play style. Sadly, there are no other settings you can change. Id have liked an orientation switching option and I REALLY would have liked a way to turn off the annoying doorbell sound after each opponent move. As it was, I had to mute the game to play it. Given some tweaks an consideration to the sounds/screen orientation issues, this can be quite a decent game.

The computer makes all the moves for me, am I missing something? I dont get to play! Maybe thats why it is free.
