Designed to be used in UK? Purchased for use in US, a brief statement scrolled quickly past seemed to say it was developed for birds native to UK. That info wasnt available prior to purchase, cant find that reference again. Not clear what region its useful in.

Why is ChirpOMatic the best birdsong app for birds?
• Recordings of bird songs disturb nesting birds, distracting them from the essential tasks of defending their territory and feeding their young. ChirpOMatic is the only bird sound app that is safe to use anywhere, at any time, because its the only app with Bird-safe Mode. When this is switched on, you have to hold the phone to your ear as though making a phone call in order to hear the sounds. This ensures that birds are not disturbed.
• ChirpOMatic is the only bird app that changes to ‘dark mode’ at night. This prevents light from a bright screen disturbing birds.

Reviews
What region is this for?
Seems cool but
will not work-keeps crashing
Does not identify birds
Nice idea but the app does not identify birds. Completely worthless.
Doesnt work
Dont know if it isnt narrowing by region or what the problem is, but I got a perfect capture of my bird song and it failed to identify the bird. After asking around and searching online, we IDd the bird. The bird wasnt even in the list of possibilities listed in the app. For the record, it was a "Black-capped Chickadee". Avoid this app.
