How It Works
"Map"
Search your local environment for public basketball courts by using the Map. Your position will be shown on the map and you will see which basketball courts are in the area nearby. Switch between map and satellite view. Pushing a court mark gives you the name and address, a click will then show you the details for the selected court, including photos, comments and videos, if available.
"Find Courts"
Simply type any address and the CourtFinder will give you a map with basketball courts in the area.
"Add Court"
If you just discovered a court that‘s not in the CourtFinder yet, add it in seconds! You can even take a snapshot right away so others get an impression. Your court will also show up on the Courts of the World website in real-time!
"Featured Courts"
Check out the best rated basketball courts, the ones viewed most often and the most recent additions to our database!
In addition to the CourtFinder iPhone application, the Courts of the World website www.courtsoftheworld.com allows users to save interesting courts, show others which basketball courts they‘ve visited and represent their own home court. The missing Streetball App!
Great App - it´s been out just a few hours, but I´m already lovin`it. Can`t wait till sunrise, so I can use the CourtFinder to find some new basketball courts in Cologne/ Germany where I can spend the weekend.
Die App macht was sie soll...
Egal wo ich bin - auf Reisen oder im Urlaub und selbst zu Hause - hier finde ich schnell den nächsten Court - und das weltweit!!! Die App die genau das macht was sie soll!
Super Idee! Gut umgesetzt!
Die Idee an sich ist genial! Zudem reinen Ansehen der Courts in der Umgebung kommt hier auch die Möglichkeit, selbst Informationen, Courts, Videos und Fotos hinzuzufügen. Allerdings ist hierfür eine Anmeldung nötig. Es sind doch recht viele Courts eingetragen, jedoch fehlen meist (noch!) detaillierte Informationen. Die App läuft flüssig und macht optisch einiges her. Bin im großen und ganzen sehr zufrieden und gespannt, wie sich diese App entwickelt:-) Bitte zum nächsten Update noch Court-Bewertung (geht über die App nicht), Infos über Belag, Zustand des Platzes, Heimmannschaften, Spieler usw. ergänzen, sowie an der Absturzsicherheit arbeiten! EDIT: läuft absolut unzuverlässig!!! Viele abstürze, vor allem beim hochladen von infos odet bildern. Hochgeladene bilder werden verzerrt und es gibt keine möglichkeit, das zu ändern. Beim schreiben von kommentaren ist am satzanfang nicht einmal die großschreibtaste eingestellt und wenn man zu viel schreibt, dann kann man den text nicht mehr sehen! Tastatur lässt sich nämlich auch nicht einklappen. Um vorhandene courts anzusehen nach wie vor eine gute app, aber mit solchen problemen beim einstellen von informationen baut man doch kein netzwerk auf. BITTE Update!!!
