I remember before the digital age and iPods I use to recognize albums by their cover. I remember looking thru CDs to find that picture/artwork that had the song I was looking for. This game makes me once again get to know and remember the artists not just for their songs but for the album artwork. its funs and a great way to pass time and get to know the artwork for the song again. I also like to think it helps you exercise your brain by remembering and matchning the artwork....

Graphically mastered and engineered, this is no ordinary match game. You’ll be pleasantly surprised with the crisp OpenGL graphics and special effects that accompany each level, and intrigued by the beauty and rich detail of your album art. Using a classic arcade format, Cover Match starts off slow with just a few album covers to match, then heats up with unlimited levels of randomly sorted cover art. Cover Match literally offers “zillions” of game possibilities. No two games will ever be alike.
Players can choose from two modes, “fun” and “scored”. Fun mode lets you play at your leisure with no limits, no timers, and no pressure. Scored mode creates competition and tests your matching skills using a timer and tap counter. Points are awarded for matches, and a bonus is given for any time or taps leftover at the end of each level.
Other features of Cover Match include portrait and landscape play options (just rotate your device during game play) and an extensive help section. The built-in soundtrack will keep you tapping, but Cover Match also lets iPod music play through so you can listen to your favorite tunes. If you need to interrupt a game for a phone call or meeting, Cover Match will automatically save your current progress and score for restart later on. Finally, players can compete for high scores to win a place on the online Cover Match Top 25 list.

this is the only game on my I Phone...its insane
Get this game if you want to feed your brain and appreciate your cover art...Once your start you just cant stop playing... Without a doubt the coolest App ever. If you loved the memory game as a kid this one will blow your mind. Best memory match game Ive seen in a long time
I recieved my iPod touch for my birthday a few weeks ago and bought this app after seeing it featured, I now play it non stop. Its been fun to play this game with all my music Ive collected over the years showing all the album artwork. My husband and I now fight over whos going to play first! Any music fan would love this app for the good quality and price.
Didnt think it would be this good
As a musician I am always looking for more music related games. I figured for 99 cents give it a shot, and wow was I pleasantly surprised to say the least. This is a well made app and fun to play. Its cool to see all the album covers. I will definitely pass this along to the other guys in the band!
