Welcome to Waterdeep, the City of Splendors! A city run by a secret society of masked Lords who rule with shady back-door dealings and unmatched political power. In Lords of Waterdeep players will play as one of these masked Lords and will need to recruit adventurers to go out and complete quests for them. The more quests they complete, the more control and influence they have over the city.
Players can expand the city by purchasing buildings that will open up new opportunities within the city walls. Intrigue cards can be used to help the player and may also either help or hinder their fellow Lords in their quest to become the supreme ruler of Waterdeep!
Lords of Waterdeep is a turn-based strategy game played in 8 rounds and can be played against AI or with up to 5 human players. Players take turns assigning their agents to do their bidding, whether it is to recruit new adventurers to their tavern or purchase a new building for the city. Points and resources are gained by completing quests, playing Intrigue cards, constructing new buildings or having other players utilize the buildings you have constructed. At the end of the 8 rounds bonus points are awarded and the player with the most points at the end wins the game.

Efficace
Muito bom
É um jogo excelente, baseado no board game que ultimamente tem feito tanto sucesso por aí. Lords of Waterdeep é mais uma chance de curtir a ambientação dos Reinos Esquecidos (Forgotten Realms), no caso, na cidade de Águas Profundas. Para os jogadores de RPG, é também uma chance de conhecer melhor a dinâmica das facções e dos lordes na Cidade dos Esplendores. Recomendado.
Wars das schon?!
Das Spiel ist mir nach 5 Stunden langweilig geworden. Nette Grafik, auch sehr gute Idee, aber leider viel zu wenig Tiefgang. Ich übernehme als Spieler die Rolle eines der Fürsten von Waterdeep. Also solcher kann ich verschiedene Quests ausführen, für die ich Abenteurer benötige. Außerdem kann ich gegen die anderen Fürsten intrigieren und ich kann Häuser bauen, die Abenteurer generieren oder noch ein paar andere Effekte haben. Soweit so gut, aber was für den klassischen D&D Spieler eine absolute Enttäuschung ist, ist dass die Abenteurer reine Ressourcen sind, wie in anderen Spielen Gold, Holz, usw. Nach einmaligem Gebrauch verschwinden sie. Man kann sie nicht entwickeln (leveln, bessere Sprüche usw.), und man kann sie auch nicht auf ihren Abenteuern begleiten und in die Verließe von Waterdeep hinuntersteigen. Zu schade! Ich wäre so gerne mal wieder einem Betrachter begegnet und das auch noch im Auftrag von Piergeiron?! Perfekt. Aber so? Zwei Sterne sind passend. Gute Idee, wenig draus gemacht. Die Add-ons sind übrigens nicht der Rede wert.
iOS 10 Problems
Apple removed the Game Center app in iOS 10, and backstabbed this game. Playdek never built a Game Center UI into this game(why would they have?), so it is now impossible to check achievements. Very annoying!
Awesome adaption & great game!
Ive sunk nearly 100 hours into this app and really enjoyed it. The adaption is a excellent and it makes for very fast game play. Expansion packs are also great and I highly recommend for any Waterdeep fans.
Forgotten game
Game is not updated for more than 2 years, even ipad warns you about it.
