Portable Wikipedia Information

App contains descriptions of nearly 900 minerals. So far all of then that Ive looked at are exact copies of the Wikipedia entry for the same mineral including the photo. If there is no photo in Wikipedia, there is no photo here. If a portable version of Wikipedia mineral information is what you want, that is what you get. Looking up minerals with Apples Safari can be painful so this might be a handy alternative when on the road for a quick casual look at mineral information. The other advantage of this app is that you can search or look up minerals by type or randomly for information about minerals that you did not know even existed. That is an advantage over Wikipedia. I think it was worth the $2.
