After buying a copy for my wife and myself, testing it, all seemed great. it seems like a great application, the spoken Italian was a nice feature and then, a few days later, stepping off the train in Italy I try to launch it and all the app can say is.. you have to download a language pack and theres no connection to the internet (rural southern Italy). Now if I hadnt tested it Id have said it was my own fault, but I did, it worked, I did nothing to the iPod in the interim, but it failed at the critical time. My recommendation is buy a book (luckily I had one as a backup)

Very disappointing
Ripped off
It wont even load on my iphone 6. First time I paid this much for an app and I got ripped off. Do Not purchase
Well, over 50 apps purchased and i finally bought a clunker...
Bought this app for an upcoming trip & should have paid attention to no reviews on an app out for over 2 weeks. Every time i try to start app, it prompts me to download a language pack, I hit ok, then it "downloads data from a server", brings me to a screen with "1 download remaining" and does nothing. I try to restart it and it goes through the same cycle again, again and again. The vendors website is worthless, and has no iphone-specific support or FAQ. Will be calling my favorite AMEX rep to cancel payment for this app.

*BEWARE* This app only works with internet, so its useless while traveling in Italy, unless you have an international data plan. What a waste of $10!
Awful
Audio quality is bad and volume is very low. Phrases are solely for the embarrassing tourist - "I would like chicken. Where is my hotel? How much does the espresso cost?"

This program is a piece of JUNK. and Apple ITune does NOTHING to help you get a refund. I am still waiting for a refund
A P.O.S. at any price!
This app doesnt fully download to an IPhone. The annunciation is garbled/muffled. I would have been better off stumbling through an actual hard copy Italian phrase book. Having read several other reviews, it doesnt look like a refund is easily obtained. Let the buyer beware!
