Talking ONLY in English

The app title is very misleading. This app only pronounces the English words and really poorly with Text-to-Speech. Which is useless for English speaking people that want to know how to say the words in Tagalog. It is ok if you want to look up words in English and Tagalog. Though it would be nice to know how to clear the history or if you can even do that. As it stores every word you look at in the history. I also purchased the phrasebook from the same company and it is a lot better if you are wanting to know how to say basic phrase in Tagalog, but dont expect a word for word translation. This app is NOT very customizable as the description claims. There are no options to change the toolbars, fonts, or colors. The worst part is that there is no HELP menu. The virtual keyboard has NO input for special characters or symbols (accents) at all. There is also no options to create, add, edit your own personalized user dictionaries. Basically most of the options it claims to have are not there. So only buy this thing if you want to know how to say things in English like a computer voice with very bad pronunciation and to be able to look up words.

Just an expensive text dictionary

Text to speech is a lie, it only reads English words, useless to an English speaker. Save money and get a cheaper dictionary.

Useless Dictionary

It only finds the tagalog words but you cant find the meanings of word that you searched,Very Useless!! Were just wasting Money in this dictionary!!!:(

Good Dictonary, but...

Not a bad app if you dont mind scrolling through the program. Crashes quite a bit when searching for words, I say about 40% of the time.

Good, but not Great

4 stars because this is the best of the limited English-Tagalog dictionary apps out there. I have an iPhone 4 and Ive experienced a crash a couple times myself. If this improvement could be made, as well as a Tagalog-English addition, I would be WAY excited and would definitely change to 5 stars. I have a ton of friends I would gladly recommend if this were to happen.....especially considering the $8 cost. (too much in my opinion for only a 1-way translator, add in the Tagalog-English and itd be worth it) ...With SpanishDict being free...surely my suggestions are possible. Thanks for the app!

never ending word count

tagalog is such a rare language to find a good translator for but this one is great. basically any word can be found here and for 8 bucks its a good deal. havent had it crash but the 1.2 v is supposed to have bug fixes. awesome app overall.
