Ez Budget - Quick Envelope Budgeting is for people like you who want to keep track of their spending, and more importantly keep their spending in check. If you need to start sticking to your budget, this app will help you keep your spending under control. ENVELOPE BUDGETING
Ez Budget implements envelope budgeting for you with your bank account so that you don’t have to carry around a bunch of cash and envelopes. Just divide your money into virtual envelopes and then categorize your transactions as they come in. Now you can easily know exactly how much you have left to spend while keeping the convenience of using plastic.
MANUAL TRANSACTIONS
Easy to use input of transactions. When you buy something just enter a description and an amount. Then pick an envelope for it to come out of and your done.
RECURRING TRANSACTIONS
Easily add recurring transactions for income or bills that occur on a regular basis. Options include weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly.
AUTOMATICALLY IMPORT TRANSACTIONS
Get all of your transactions from your checking account automatically. All you have to do is pick an envelope for them. Automatic import utilizes your banks Open Financial Exchange (OFX) server. Ez Budget uses the third party Finkin.com API to interface with your banks OFX server. These requests are made via a secure HTTPS connection and your password is never saved. This feature may require you to contact your bank to enable and is not supported by every bank. Please note that some banks charge for this service.
SYNC YOUR BUDGET WITH IPHONE AND MAC
If you want to sync using Dropbox, simply enter your Dropbox account information (or sign up for a free account in app) and then turn syncing on. This will automatically backup your budget information and allow you to share it with your spouse. Have your spouse enter the same Dropbox account in their app, and now both of you can see the current budget anytime and anywhere.
Please note that the Dropbox sync works in the background when you close the app, and therefore will only work on devices with multitasking support.
