A Tax assistance program for the recording, and calculation of travel times and distances. The application allows you to accurately track travel made in a car (or other vehicle) and allocate this travel to an activity for reporting and tax purposes.
The Car Log is easy to use with the following key capabilities:
•Travel Logging – For the recording and mapping of new trips at the push of a button.
•Records Management – For the viewing and editing of past travel logs.
•IO – For the transfer of Travel logs to other systems, or emails.
The FBT Car Log allows the user to easily start a trip, stop a trip, and calculate the distance inbetween using the phones internal GPS / Navigation capabilities. The application will determine the location. The user can add additional data, such as purpose, and vechicle.
The FBT Car Log also allows the plotting on a vehicle path over a map, to display in detail where the user has travelled. This detailed information is stored for later use.
The FBT Car Log then allows the user to export the data, to file, or email, for the purposes of sending to an tax accountant or other 3rd party.
Please note, this application uses background processing to calculate distances. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
