If you read financial news and occaisionally come across a word you dont understand...this is a useful app to learn on the go. This company seems to also sell courses so some of the terms are actually short descriptions of the courses. You can go to the website directly from the app to find out more and I guess buy courses. Thats probably why its free because other financial glossaries charge up to $10. Cant beat the price. nice feature that you can add your own notes to the definitions and you can e-mail the company and give them ideas for new terms.

Useful app for looking up financial terms...
Its ok but it could be better
This is a good app for quick reference of the definitions to financial terms. If you could add all the financial formulas as well it would be a 5 star app. To the previous rater, this isnt simply an attempt to sell courses. CSI offers courses that individuals are required to pass in order to become registered with the canadian securities regulators so they can legally work in the financial services industryin Canada.
Great app
Beatifully designed application for quick reference. Any financial term that you may come across and are doubtfull of the meaning. Very handy and very useful and its free so why not have it. If you talk finance all day this is a great aid you have in your pocket.
Awesome
One word, awesome!!!!!
Mixed review
My biggest problem with this app is that it completely overwrote the previous version, rather than updating. I had over 100 notes I had written on the definitions that are all lost, it seems. Other than that, it is rather apt, and the addition of the formulas makes for quick reference, though I think the formulas are a little sparse. Decent, though, and good to have a Canadian glossary from CSI.
great
significant improvement from previous version. formulas are great. what is up with the font though. its like the narrow version of the csi logo font. somewhat distracting and cheap looking. dont mean to nit pick such a small detail but update your font. better yet, use the font in your textbooks!!
Wonderful app
Very convenience! Love it
