HOW IT WORKS
Most aircraft today are equipped with so called ADS-B transponders that transmit positional data. Flight radar 24 has a rapidly growing network of several thousand ground stations around the world to receive this data that then shows up as aircraft moving on a map in the app. In an expanding number of regions Flightradar24, with the help of multilateration, is able to calculate the positions of aircraft that don’t have ADS-B transponders.
Traditional radar data is also used in the app thanks to a direct feed from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This data provides near real-time coverage of all US and Canadian airspace.

Great, useful app
It is awsome how this app works. You have real time infos for every flight worldwide, concerning altitude, speed, route, destination, airplane type, ....you even have realtime 3D views from the cockpit!
Application géniale !
Dommage quune fois lappli achetée, il faille payer à nouveau plusieurs fois pour ajouter des fonctionnalités utiles. Ceci dit, lapplication est passionnante, même si tous les avions napparaissent pas. On y voit même des planeurs faire de la pente ! Bravo aux Suédois.
Ne pas installer
Bonjour, cette appli était génial il y a plus dun an mais depuis quelques mois nous devons payer pour voir les décollages et arrivées. Cette application nous prends vraiment pour des pigeons.
Très bonne application
Super app. Travaillant dans laéronautique je me sers de flight radar très souvent pour savoir où sont les avions dont je dois moccuper, vol en temps réel et très précis.
