We think it should be easier to be smarter. So we decided to start creating fun, illustrated stories based on bestselling non-fiction books. You can finish one in just 5 minutes, and they’re all lovingly crafted by our team of writers and designers based in New York. Over a quarter of a million people have read stories in our unique “tap story” format, but we’re just getting started.

Reading new stories on Hardbound are always free, but you can become a Patron, and youll get access to our entire back catalogue of stories.
Hardbound Patron subscriptions are optional, and Patron features are available via an auto-renewing subscription:
- $3.99 per month (Small)
- $7.99 per month (Medium)
- $19.99 per month (Large)
Full subscription details:
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase.No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.
