I just did the download yesterday and have been trying out the app. In the app description at the bottom it says there is Training and Tutorial Videos..I see the training page but no videos? Would be a great help if there in fact was a video or two to help with the training on how to use the app. Please post some video like stated above. Great Application!!! The HVAC Load+ iPhone app allows you to perform detailed heating and cooling block loads for small commercial and residential buildings out in the field by taking advantage of the simplicity and power of the iPhone.
It performs heating and cooling block load calculations based upon industry standard calculation methods. The following is just a small sample of the features included in this app:
1. Includes a 1000+ world-wide city weather database
2. Includes data for 100s of construction types for walls, roofs, floors, doors, windows, skylights, ceilings, and more
3. Allows you to create and store an unlimited number of projects. You can also copy existing projects to new projects for easy reuse of data

Training and Tutorial Videos
Great reporting
Ive been using this app for a couple weeks now, and my clients really like the reports it produces, especially the pie-charts. It has helped me close more business so I hope my competitors dont get a hold of it. My only wish is that you could customize some of the reports so I could email them directly to the client as opposed to emailing them to myself, modifying it, then emailing. Maybe next version. Great job.
Block loads
Great hvac block load program. This has been quite useful for my hvac repair biz where I need to do quick loads to give my customers an approximate quote. I wish it had some pricing info in it, but maybe next version. Ive used this app much more than i thought because it is so useful.
Quick energy audits
I know this app doesnt quite do energy audits, but i am a tech for a solar installer and this does help with that whole process of determining cooling loads, etc. Its really useful once i email the results back to my office and then do further analysis on it that is required for our business. I look forward to the native iPad version, that will be a killer.
This is a game changer
This app has pretty much changed the way I do business. I can now do quick and accurate loads out in the field then email the results back to my laptop so I can do further analysis. This really is a game-changer.
Works good!
I have been in the HVAC industry for over 50 years. I downloaded and installed HVAC Load Plus and plugged in the house a friend just bought. Came up with exactly the system I ballparked in my head but, now I have something to back up my calculations. Four stars for now, until Ive used it a few more times.
Looks ok so far
I am looking forward to using this in the field in front of clients. However on the iPad the graphics when exploded to 2x are fuzzy. I feel like I am going cross eyed. Looking forward to seeing a true iPad version with a crisp, easier to read display.
