Ich war zuerst misstrauisch, ob die Anzeige der Präsentationen mit Powerpoint 2007 auf dem iPad klappt, da ich schon schlechte Erfahrungen mit Keynote auf dem iPad gemacht habe. Allerdings ist hier die Vorgehensweise auch ganz anders, unter Windows wird eine Software installiert, die sowohl die Präsentation startet, als auch die Verbindung zum iPad übernimmt und die Präsentation konvertiert und überträgt. Die Verbindung mit dem PC funktioniert gut (Win7), erfordert aber Adminrechte, je nach installierten Diensten auf den PC muss man allerdings eine manuelle Verbindung herstellen, da das IPad sonst nicht den PC findet. Dieser Vorgang ist zwar gut erklärt auf den Webseiten des Herstellers, aber vielleicht nicht für jeden ganz einfach nachzuvollziehen. Auch die Oberfläche auf dem iPad ist übersichtlich. Durch die Verteilung der Präsentation auf PC (öffnen der Datei und Anzeige) und iPad (Starten und Steuerung) ist es aber erst einmal gewöhnungsbedürftig, vor der ersten echten Präsi sollte man es jedenfalls mal üben. Was leider nicht gut ist, ist die fehlende Option, die Präsentation auf einem zweiten Bildschirm umzulegen, es wird immer der Hauptmonitor genommen, d.h. für eine Präsi mit Beamer, muss man entweder auf Bildschirm und Beamer dengleichen Desktop anzeigen (Clonemodus) oder den Beamer als 1. Monitor nutzen (erweiterter Desktop). Damit verbunden ist auch, dass man keine Referentensicht auf dem Monitor hat, allerdings hat man dafür ja das iPad, also kein echter Verlust. Einmal habe ich es auch geschafft, das Programm so zum Abstruz zu bringen, dass die Wischgesten zum Blättern nicht mehr funktionierten. Das Blättern mit der Folienübersicht hat aber noch funktionierrt. Wie es dazu gekommen ist, weiss ich nicht, ich konnte den Fehle nicht nachstellen, also nicht ganz fehlerfrei, aber eigentlich zuverlässig. Wenn man kein gemeinsames WLAN hat, kann man auch eine Adhoc WLAN Verbindung erstellen, allerdings ist dies unter Win7 durchaus schwierig, da man ein paar Systemeinstellungen vornehmen muss. Ich nutze hier lieber Connectify, das aus meinem Win7 PC einen Hotspot macht und über diesen dann die Verbindung herstelle. Wer auf die Voransicht der Folien auf dem iPad verzichten kann und doch lieber mit der Referentenansicht arbeitet und das iPad nur zum Steuern nutzen möchte, der sollte erst einmal WiFi Touchpad von mbpowertools testen (am besten nach dem Hersteller suchen). Hier bekommt man eine virtuelle Tastatur und Touchpad, wer die shortcuts von Powerpoint kennt, kommt damit auch gut zurecht und es ist kostenlos. Aber eben ohne Folienansicht auf dem iPad.
Kein Vorladen von Folien
Habe gerade die Software für mein iPad2 gekauft. Danach wie verlangt die Software auf meinem MacBookPro (Frühjahr 2011) installiert (aktuellste Version, 2008). Leider zeigt sich nur eine verzögerte Mausfunktion und kein Vorladen vom Folien wie von mir gewünscht.
Unstable
I have a 44 pages PowerPoint running on my MacBook Pro, i never able to use this app and walk through the entire PowerPoint without crashing.
Waste of $9.99
PowerPoint will not load and run properly. Followed all directions, read the FAQs.
Useless
I really tried to get it to work. It was awkward in its setup and execution and horribly unstable. Useless.
Lost my money
This app is really poor and not worth its price. Unfriendly user interface, hanging and unresponsive. Id never use it for a pro presentation. 2 stars because I believe this will get better in the future. The general idea is cool, but the implementation - unfinished. Sometimes it simply stops responding to NEXT/PREV SLIDE button. If you click too fast, youll experience some nasty behavior. You have to wait until the transition finishes. Otherwise it will be stopped and restarted. So it keeps running again and again without moving you forward. This is veeery annoying
