This application tells the story of the architectural ensemble of the Cathedral of Siena, describes the environments and helps you understand what you are observing, giving you a clear picture of the buildings, their transformations over the centuries and the works of art that are preserved here. It is designed to accompany the public during the visit, but also as a preliminary study tool or as a souvenir of what you have seen.
The description of the tour through the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Crypt , the Oratory and the Museum of the Cathedral allows you to understand the artistic and spiritual value of these places, where some of the greatest Italian artists as Nicola Pisano, Donatello, Michelangelo and Bernini have been working in the past. The monumental marble inlays on the Cathedral floor is described in its entirety, frame -by-frame, allowing the visitor to have a complete view of its iconographic complex project.
