iKaossilator uses the unique X-Y interface made famous by Korg’s entire Kaoss Line, including the original hand-held KAOSSILATOR. Create melodies and phrases simply by stroking, tapping, or rubbing the touch screen with your finger; no musical knowledge is required.

Use the 150 built-in sounds to perform and produce a broad range of dance music styles including hip-hop, house, techno, dubstep, nu-disco, and electro. Enjoy the synth leads and synth bass sounds you expect from a synthesizer. The drum sounds let you play and manipulate various patterns simply by moving your finger.
■ Loop Sequencer
The built-in loop sequencer lets you layer up to five musical parts. To create a track, simply assign a loop such as synth, bass, chords, sound effects, or drums to each part. Fifty loops created by professional musicians are built-in to help you get started quickly. In addition to its track-making capabilities, this loop sequencer is also a great feature for live performance. The Mix Play feature makes it easy to enjoy live remixing; you can switch seamlessly to another loop or extract a specific part from another loop while the playback continues.

Ludique à souhait ! Presque aussi bien que le kaossilator pro dont je viens de faire lacquisition ! Indispensable pour tout fana de bidouillage de sons ! Mériterait maintenant de pouvoir importer ses propres samples pour être parfait !

IKaoss fait partie de mes app préférées. Faut aimer le son (Électro) mais cest super marrant de jouer avec cette app. Compatible iPad et iPhone/iPod, cest un super jouet dans les transports en commun... Mais casque obligatoire !!! Il serait bien de pouvoir importer nos propres sons... Il serait bien de pouvoir jouer sur une partie plus longue ... Il serait pratiqué de pouvoir lutiliser en background... Sinon, je mamuse bien avec, on peut bien bosser, et comme je dis souvent, on ne peut pas se contenter dune seule app du genre dans son iPad, une fois quon y goute, les autres applications du même genre vont suivre dans votre iMachine... Chaque app nous apporte son genre musical en faite... Et vivement la synchro interne entre plusieures app au sein du même iPad, car moi qui joue (et qui ne veut jouer) quavec un iPad, ce serait sympa de pouvoir manipuler synthé et séquenceur(s) en même temps... IKaoss + BeatMaker + NanoStudio + ThumbJam + GarageBand + NLog + Sunrizer + SoundPrism + iElectribe + Animoog = UNE TUERIE

Une de mes meilleures application de "création" de musique. Facile, intuitif, design excellent, je parie que FIGURE sen est inspiré… ; ) Bref, que vous soyez un "Guetta" ou un vulgum pecus, iKao est un outil fun et excitant pour se prendre pour un DeeJay!

Très sympa mais : - Il manque une fonction Undo - Ça serait bien davoir moins de menus (notamment pour effacer le pattern, un bouton daccès direct serait mieux) - ça serait bien si on pouvait choisir la plage de tessiture en largeur car jouer 2 octaves sur un petit écran cest délicat La fonction Loop list permettant de mixer les boucles entre elles (piste indépendantes) est simple mais il fallait y penser, cest une très bonne idée !
