Lifebirds Journal provides birders with powerful tools for recording, displaying, and sharing sighting data. Features include:
• up-to-date database of all 10,000+ bird species in the world
• species lists for 10 world regions
• powerful search technology to quickly find a species
• search terms include alpha codes and alternate names
• quick and easy entry of sighting information
• minimal typing to enter sightings
• minimum detail required but maximum detail possible
• location reuse once details are entered
• detailed bird counts by age and sex
• GPS coordinates of a sighting
• notes and/or voice memos (recordings)
• details of sighting can be emailed in one step
• sightings lists by any combination of dates/location/family
• lists ranging from one day to a life list
