Ich habe viele London Tube Apps ausprobiert, dies ist und bleibt das Beste. Der Preis sollte nicht abschrecken. Ich bin regelmässig in London und habe das Geld schon lange abgefahren Das Beste ist einfach, dass alles offline genutzt werden kann und keine Internetgeb. anfallen Das gleiche gilt für das identische London Bus App.

Seit 2010 regelmäßig in Gebrauch und sehr zufrieden! Wird stetig weiterentwickelt, sehr praktisch und hilfreich!!! Für mich klar die beste London-Tube-App. Routenplanung, Infos und GPS-Lokalision offline! Informative, übersichtliche und gut zoombare Karte mit allen Tube-Linien in deren typischer Farbe. Die Karte ist superschnell, ruckelfrei und hat eine gute kontrastreiche Grafik. Nach Klick auf eine Station werden Name, GPS-Infos und alle dort verkehrende Linien angezeigt. Desweiteren lässt sich die angeklickte Station als Start oder Ziel für die Routenplanung definieren und der "Travel-Explorer", errechnet Entfernungen und Reisezeiten von dieser Station aus und „Wohnortnah“ zeigt eine Liste von POIs in der Nähe. Hat man Start und Ziel definiert (das geht übrigens auch über eine alphabetische Liste), kann man sich die Route als gut gegliederte Textbeschreibung mit Dauer der Route, Anzahl der Umstiege und mehr, oder als Step-by-Step-Animation auf der Karte anzeigen lassen. Wichtig: Beschreibung enthält immer die Fahrtrichtung der Linien in (N-O-S-W), denn danach muss man sich ja auch in dr Tube richten. Jederzeit kann auf eine zweite (Straßen-)Karte umgeschaltet werden mit den Stationen als Punkt dargestellt, hier erhält man ein gutes Gefühl für die Entfernungen. Ansonsten: Offline-GPS, Favoriten, Listen mit Stationen, Strassen, Hotels, Parks, u.v.m. Ist in London wirklich eine echte Hilfe! Besonders, da die ganze Sache offline funzt. Meiner Ansicht nach für London-Reisende ein MUSS. Hier sind die Möglichkeiten des iPhones optimal genutzt worden. 100% Kaufempfehlung!
The best of the transpo apps
Shows above ground map and the metro offline with GPS integration. And it gives tube status updates such as which line is experiencing painful delays today. Great app. I just bought one of theirs for another city as well
New version drops link to streetmaps
Previous versions showed a map of the city (London in this case) and superimposed the tube map on it. This means that you could see how far the stops were from each other and understand the relationship between the stops and the real world. The GPS was able to show you were you were on the surface roadmap, so you could decide if you wanted to walk a block to a different stop, or simply see where you were. The new version is useless. It no longer has a real map, only a schematic of the tube stops. Thats probably fine for someone who knows London, but for visitors, the new format of the app is a very big setp backwards. I no longer recommed this app (or the others in the series) to others.
Great purchase (even thought I dont live in London)
This was so worth buying, even though i probably wont use it again for some time. It was a lifesaver when I was on my own and using the Underground.
