Doesnt work
Doesnt work unless you allow it to your your current location......then it still doesnt work.....only way i got it to beep was of o waved the phone around quickly....... Maybe its get better with updates, cool idea anyway
Looks cool, even functions a little.
Nice free app. Probably looks better as a metal detector than it functions as a one. It doesnt recognize coins or keys; but if you are two inches away from metal otherwise, it does alert you. Guess the only practical purpose would be to determine if something is indeed metal, as it wont help you find anything missing, probably. However, does seem to work to some degree at detecting metal, and how many other phones can say that? Also, thank you for the free app Phase2 Media!
Where is the Magnetometer?
This app needs a picture to show where the iPhone magnetometer is physically, so the app can be properly tested. So far it works poorly.

DOES NOT WORK ON 3G. IF YOU GAVE IT A BAD REVIEW BECAUSE IT "DIDNT WORK", YOU ARE AN IDIOT.
It works
As mentioned it only works after allow it to get current location. Using a pair of scissors I found that around the Apple logo and near the lower text it worked. Just for fun, turned up the sensitivity and could use it like a simple magnet stud finder.
