Penn State University will be hosting and celebrating the 59th Mushroom Short Course September 24-26, 2017 at Penn State University, PA. The Short Course has been a premier annual event since 1956, contributing to the growth and profitability of mushroom growers all over North America.
The conference will feature speakers from both industry and academia and will highlight the latest advances, challenges, and opportunities on a broad range of subjects. Topics will include up-to-date progress at the forefront of mushroom quality, food safety, dietary health, regulatory concerns, disease and pest management, cultivation practices, compost quality, spawn technology, energy usage, spent compost, and others.
