Great app!

This is a great app for early readers.

good app

This is a good app and I would have given it 5 stars except I hope they will work on a little more flexiblity when it comes to dragging the letters in the word family portion. Those with fine motor skills might have a hard time getting it exactly on the line area. My daughter gets in it the general spot but if she over shoots and passes the line it sends it back frustrating her. Other than that I think its a great app and would higly recommend getting it.

Educationally sound!

What a nice find! My children like it, and my students do as well. There is one addition Id love to see that would be even more beneficial- in the bubbles and jigsaw games you can hear the word spoken after solving a word, but Id love to see more open play with the letters and sounds during the word solving. For example you could tap on a letter to hear a sound, or tap with a longer press to do the same with a word family, or even tap the image to hear the whole word repeated, as needed. That would be wonderful for helping my speech students blend words. Thanks for putting together an app thats fun AND educationally sound.
