Ich kann mich der Meinung meines Vorgängers nur anschließen. Das Programm wurde anscheinend nach der Fertigstellung nicht überprüft. Und bei der Konzeption wurde wohl auch nicht nachgedacht. Selbst für kostenlos (Verkaufsaktion) zu schlecht.

"Ausbaufähig"
Schöne Idee - ungenügende Ausführung. Vielleicht bringens ja die Updates? Eine separate schwedische Version zeigt, wie es sein soll. Sie bringt auch ein bisschen Namensbedeutung und Herkunft - für sinnvollen Gebrauch unverzichtbar. Das muss verbessert werden: - Die deutsche Liste ist vollkommen leer. - Innerhalb der einzelnen Buchstaben der Namenssuche sind die Namen nach Datum geordnet - schon ein Problem, wenn es mal hundert Namen mir "B" gibt ... - Interessant, dass man unter "31. Februar" nachsehen kann! - Die christlichen Feste im österreichischen Kalender kann man ja aufführen, aber sie müssten als solche gekennzeichnet werden, und Abkürzungen sind meist etwas Schauriges. - Das Problem, dass man z. B. Ostern und Himmelfahrt nicht einem festen Datum zuordnen kann, sollte dann zumindest beschrieben werden (etwa: Ostern zwischen 20.3. und 25.4.) - Dann aber bitte auch Festtage anderer Religionen, sofern sie bestimmten Datumstagen zugeordnet werden können. - Warum sollte ein Programm nicht für den E-Mail-Gruß die in den Kontakten befindlichen Namen mit gleicher (oder sogar ähnlicher) Schreibweise vorauswählen (zum Durchscrollen)? Das wäre doch ein echtes Highlight! - Namensherkunft mit Ethymologie. - Namensbedeutung mit verschiedenen Deutungsmöglichkeiten. - Bedeutende Namensträger - Namensvarianten. Bitte gründlich nachbessern, den bisherigen Abnehmern kostenlos updaten und dann als echtes Juwel anbieten!
Stay away
I thought it was an alright idea, even being as basic, but after a month the developer hasnt bothered to correct the obvious mistakes that I pointed out before. It renders it rather unreliable and useless. Yet another "make a quick buck before ppl find out its worthless" application. Buy at your own risk, youd find you wasted your money. Or better go to www.kalmstrom.nu and sync the namedays to your outlook calendar for free (of course you could correct any mistakes before you do so).

Complete waste of 99 cents. My immediate family has european names and upon looking them up they do not even appear in this app. Bad app period. Take it from me dont even think about it. If you need to know your name day (or yout familys) do a google search and go from there...
