R6900 Routers Nighthawk App
Remote management feature makes it convenience for monitoring wifi functionality, and status at home. Helpful for friends and family members from afar to assist with Wifi diagnostic and repair. Nighthawk App is compatible with more than one model of Netgear routers.
Nice Device
I am able to login to the Nighthawk app on my iPad without any difficulty. But I am having difficulty getting my iPhone to be recognized in this app which is kind of strange. I guess I will have to call the company again to find out why this anomaly is occurring.
Not mutch functionality compared to the Netgear Genie app
Waiting to see those promised New Features... However, would prefer their development team focused more efforts on improving the Nighthawk Router itself (R7800 for example) whose new firmware relases DEGRADE its quality, stability, and performance. Hoping the latest .62 release is better than the most recent ones. IMHO, Netgear sould get their PAID FOR products working better before creating a redundant FREE app. @Netgear ? Are you listening?
R7000
I would like an app that has the ability to access all settings. Including advanced settings on the router that require logging in to the router settings through a web browser.
Nighthawk x10
Great router for multiple devices . Appears to need rebooted and updated frequently.
Helpful(ish?)
Setting up an AX8 router out of the box is relatively simple on it’s own, but the app does an OK job of running you through it. The speed test results are way off though. My computer is reading over 400mbps via Charter Spectrum’s speed test while the in-app test is reading 50-100 or so. Both are powered by Oolka, so I’m not sure what’s going on there. Other than that it’s a decent app to interact with your equipment.
