Ehhh.
How many beverages do you have to rate to get a recommendation? Rated over 70 beverages and still no rating... Was really looking forward to this app.
Heh...
Great idea, poor execution with no significant improvements over time. My biggest gripe is not being able to record my rating on new beers not in the database. I add the missing brew, but then nothing after even when searching again.
Fun App ... And Free!
I give this app five stars because, even though some wines and beers still arent loaded, there are many many that are! If you want an exact science and seriously detailed algorithm, you will probably want to look for a paid app. With this free app, I have had a lot of fun wandering around bottle shops and wine shops, snapping labels and searching for my recommended bottles. Its a fun app at no cost, and I imagine it will only get better with time (no pun intended).
Do not for brazilians
Few options of Brazilian beers. But its a great idea!
Great concept limited scope
Love the concept for this app but for it to really shine it needs more locally relevant beers. Perhaps over time this will be a very useful app.
Great idea but poorly executed.
If you are a resident of the USA, then this might work for you. If you try to scan European, South American, Australian, South African or Canadian wines, you will be disappointed at how few the app recognizes. Perhaps future versions will have more scope?
