Funktioniert
Möchte meine geschäftlichen und privaten Mails trennen, daher suchte ich ein zweites Mailprogramm. Sparrow braucht bei mir jedesmal 5-10 Minuten (!), um 3 IMAP Konten abzufragen, das ging einfach nicht. Dieses Programm stürzt zwar bei jedem Anlegen eines neuen Kontos einmal ab, hat die Änderungen dann aber beim Neustart dennoch gespeichert. Nun verrichtet es zuverlässig seinen Dienst und zeigt mir die Mails farblich nach Account unterschieden an. Bin alles in allem zufrieden!
sinnvoll und sein Geld wert?
Such(t)e eine Möglichkeit meine eigenen Mails auf dem iPad meiner Frau abrufen, lesen und beantworten zu können, außerhalb von Apples Mail-App (in dem die Mails meiner Frau sind). Offline Mail ist einfach zu konfigurieren, die Benutzeroberfläche ist schlicht und enthält keine Überraschungen. Soweit so gut. 1 Verbesserungsvorschlag: Senden meiner Mails kann nur über die im iPad voreingestellt Mailadresse erfolgen, nicht über die in Offline Mail konfigurierten Mail Accounts. Was aus Nutzersicht keinen Sinn macht - wozu brauche ich sonst einen zusätzlichen Mail Client?!
Good tool, to be finalized in key features
the tool works reliably and fast in downloading and displaying of the mail. The search function is fast and extremely helpful, as no waiting for results from the server is required. Nevertheless, to use this mailer fully, basic features have to be applied: there is no "read" or "unread" marker available; mails can not be deleted/archived. I have decided to wait for this features, as the (really fast) support informed me that these essentials will be coming soon. By then, Stars will be added, promised!

Gefällt mir, tolles Design, macht einen guten Eindruck, werde es weiter einsetzen und probieren. Weiter so!
Nette Idee, funktiniert mit IMAP nicht korrekt
Die Idee ist gut, genau so ein Programm hätte ich gebraucht um meine umfangreiche Mailsammlung offline zur Verfügung zu haben. Die Synchronisation über IMAP mit unserem David fx Server schien anfänglich auch gut zu funktionieren, doch dann kamen die Fehler: - Teilweise wird Zeichensalat mit allen erdenklichen Sonderzeichen statt dem Mailtext heruntergeladen - Anhänge werden grundsätzlich nur vertümmelt heruntergeladen und lassen sich daher mit keinem Programm öffnen. Das gilt für pdf genauso wie für gif und jpg etc. - Der Posteingang wird garnicht synchronisiert, ausgerechnet das wichtigste Postfach fehlt also - Ordnerstrukturen werden nur flach abgebildet, statt einem Baum gibt es nur unendlich viele Einzelordner mit unendlich langen Ordnernamen Es mag sein, dass es mit Gmail gut funktioniert, mit dem David Server von Tobit ist es nicht zu gebrauchen.
kaum besser als mail
Offline Mails lesen ist zwar möglich, aber die restlichen Funktionen, die man so erwartet, fehlen. So kann man einzelne Mails nicht in den dazugehörigen Ordner verschieben. Die Ordnerdarstellung ist auch nicht fehlerfrei gelöst. Bei mir werden Unterverzeichnisse mit chinesischen Sonderzeichen dargestellt. Das Design ist puristisch.
