Shin Mi Sik


Shin Mi Sik is grateful to be a photographer.
He had dreamed of the most regular life but now he is leading a life more special than any other person,
travelling more than 80 countries, away from home more than half the time,
meeting strangers in a strange land.

Shin Mi Sik has the magic touch to awaken the travel instinct
in people living a normal life through his lively photographs
and literature. He was born in Songtan, Gyeonggi Province
and studied graphic design at the university.

He procured his first camera at 30 years old and started to go around the world
with his camera from when he was 31 years old. For 18 years from then on,
he has been a freelancer photographer publishing a series of writings
and photographs through diverse media as well as printed 17 books and had held a private exhibition 15 times.
