Piano Chords and Scales Friend is a fantastic companion to have while playing piano. Easily lookup piano chords, piano scales, staff notes and access a robust metronome, all with an easy to use interface.
PIANO CHORD LOOKUP
Browse thousands of chord and root and inversion combinations in various groupings. Simply select a root (or all of them) and an optional inversion to see a list of applicable piano chords. You can also choose specific notes and search keywords for a reverse chord lookup. No need to switch between browsing and reverse lookup, everything is on one simple screen. Simply tap a chord to play it, or swipe for an ascending or descending arpeggio.
PIANO SCALE LOOKUP
Easily navigate over 5000 root and scale combinations. Select all roots or a single one to browse the list of piano scales. Or choose the number of notes, specific notes on the keyboard and search keywords for a reverse lookup – all on a single screen. Quickly tap or swipe a scale to hear an ascending or descending arpeggio.
STAFF NOTE LOOKUP
This is an easy way to identify specific notes to help sight reading. Tap or drag the note symbol on a staff to see the corresponding notation, or tap a piano key for the same info. Easily switch between Treble, Bass, Alto and Tenor clefs depending on the music you are interested in.
METRONOME
We built a simple, visual representation of a metronome, to both see and hear beats. Select the number of beats per minute and the Italian tempo marking automatically adjusts. Change the total number of beats and simply tap one to make it an accent beat. More than 10 sounds are included for regular and accent beats.
