Good App, Needs More Features
Just downloaded this app since I am traveling out if town this weekend and wanted to be alerted to any hazardous weather. Unfortunately, this app does not automatically detect your location, so the alerts dont move with you. Instead, you have to go through a series of menu options to tell the app where you are. Otherwise, like when traveling, you will still get alerts for "home" instead of where you are currently. This would be a five-star app if the devs could set it to auto detect location - and do so without me having to open the app either. It should all work seamlessly in the background. Now that would be peace of mind!
So far, not good
I can live without some of the features that are being requested, but heres a basic one: let us delete old warnings so that when a new one comes in--we can spot it right away and not have to dig through month old warnings. You should also be able to mark as read or unread" for easy reference later if you need more info later. Lastly, I actually bought this for the sex offender notification, and I havent gotten 1 in any of the 3 locations Ive checked---when I know that there is an offender living in the area. What gives? Ill revise my review when a new version comes out.
WOWIE! ZOWIE!
WHAT AN AWESOME CONCEPT! GOT SO MUCH MORE THAN I WAS EVER EXPECTING!! AMAZING! It could use a lil improvement here and there, I do agree BUT OVERALL I AM THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED!!! and then some! THIS APP SHOULD COME STANDARD WITH ALL iPHONES! ITS AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE FOR EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF AGE OR SEX!!
Dont buy
Doesnt map offenders. Cant scroll thru offenders. Doesnt have addresses. The free one I had before was better than this one
Update Needed
The concept is good, it is easy to install, but there are many shortcomings to this app. Alerts that have been received in some categories cannot be erased and some alerts that have been selected cannot be unselected. Very frustrating.
Where is next version
Great idea. Needs tweaking and weather warnings have stopped working.
