Yay, theyre back!
Back in 2011, shortly after I got my iPad, I found this app. I devoured every issue of the magazine. Good articles, great photography, all about racing under sail. Then, suddenly, it was gone! The next issue was advertised, but never appeared. I tried to find out what happened, to no avail. I kept the slot on my news stand and checked occasionally, and now, first week in April, 2013, I noticed the mag was back! I just read the new issue cover to cover and its better than ever! Dont hesitate, if you are a sailing addict, subscribe right away, you are going to love it! Weve got to encourage these guys to keep it up. They have in-depth stories about Volvo Ocean Race (the next one), the Americas Cup 70s, and other extreme sailing. The only criticism I have is sloppy grammatical proof reading, but thats just nit picking. Get the app, read the mag, write a glowing review. Keep the magazine coming.
Will not function
After a few crashes, I finally got the edition to download, but now every time I try to read it, the app crashes. I guess its good they have a web version.
Save your time
Excited to hear about the app. However, after downloading Dec 2010 issue on iPhone, it appears not to work. Though the text only version works, the main (with graphics) edition terminates abnormally. This needs to be addressed before I take another look.
