On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to Santander and to the 5th Santander International Orthop Meeting, focused on Hip Surgery for the third time. The management of hip injuries has evolved significantly with the advancement of arthroscopic techniques. The application of minimally invasive surgical techniques has facilitated relatively rapid returns to sporting activity in both recreational and elite athletes.
The timing of the third edition of Santander Hip Meeting will be in the Palacio de Festivales, Santander Spain February 20-21-22 2013.
This symposium has been planned for orthopaedic surgeons and other health care professionals involved in hip arthroscopy and is a response to the need for education in the diagnosis and management of a variety of new hip conditions and to update hot topics in Hip Arthroplasty.After participating in this 3 days program you will better able to define and implement hip arthroscopy techniques in your practice as well as the advantages of different surgical techniques and to know the new technologies currently available for hiparthroscopic surgery and hip prostheses. The distinguished speaking faculty has been selected for their outspoken opinions. We hope you will take the opportunity to question them closely.
