The Case of the unlucky gambler
A young boy turns up to Baker Street in the hope that Sherlock Holmes will help find his missing father. During Holmes’ investigation he learns that the man is in fact a heavy gambler and on the run from creditors, and his investigation leads leads him through some very dark places.
The Case of Harry Crocker
Escapee murder suspect Harry Crocker seeks the help of Sherlock Holmes in the hope that Holmes will help to prove his innocence. Watson recalls reading about crocker’s escape in the newspaper, accused of strangling a chorus girl. Inspector Lestrade arrives at Holmes’ residence shortly after to arrest Crocker and Holmes assures him that he will help him as best he can. Holmes begins his investigation at the theatre where he takes a look at the crime scene, questions the other people and then goes to morgue to examine the victims body.
