Ever wanted to use your own server for instant messaging? Now you can! Speak freely as all the messages are sent to your own messaging server. Receive instant push notifications for your private messages or group messages that youve subscribed for.
Before using the application, users have to agree to an EULA on the first run of the application (EULA can be accessed here: http://spika.videre.sg/wwwroot/page/eula/english). The administrator of the backend service can also disable user sign ups and manually add users in the backend and subsequently provide the user account information for users to log in.
In addition, any objectionable material sent through the chat can be flagged by any user of the system and the administrator would have the ability to delete and ban the offensive user and content.
No more embarrassing leaks when you send messages as this is a closed system and the system administrator determines and grants user access rights to use the messaging server.
Other features include an automatic timer that deletes all conversations (ephemeral messaging) and encrypted group chats.
