Wish I had seen the reviews

The concept is nice but there is no spoken version of Scots Gaelic and the phrase list seems small.

Nul

Marche pas

Pitoyable

Service minimum

Not much help

I bought this thinking to learn a few words of Scottish Gaelic before our trip there. Unfortunately, the speaker does not work with this language and trying to speak Gaelic by reading the printed text is totally useless.

Dont waste your money

Unfortunately I did. Program only translates a small handful of phrases. It is very rigid with how the phrase needs to be entered. Complete garbage. GOOGLE translate is much better - and free.

I would love this if it worked...

2 stars awarded for the concept. But as soon as I started to use it, the app froze and wont display any screen without a restart. Also to be useful there MUST BE PRONUNCIATIONS for the Gaelic!!! The orthography of all the Gaelic languages is perverse to say the least. One cannot hope to get anywhere without pronunciations provided. If not audio files then at least use the IPA! Of course if you HAD provided a pronunciation guide, I wouldnt be able to tell since the app freezes. But Im basing this on the fact that little audio icons appear only in the non-Gaelic languages (and how useless is that? We ALREADY KNOW how to speak our native tongues!). Great idea. Really hope the developer continues working on it.
