Big red LED digits allow you to see the timer even at great distance so you are free to move while you give the talk of your life. SpeakerClock emulates the famous countdown clock that all speakers at TED conferences need to adhere to.

Start the clock and place it within your view when giving a public talk to see at a glance how much speaking time you have remaining. The "traffic light" gives you visual feedback when its time to wrap up or make your closing remarks.

Use it for actual public speeches or train with it for the fateful day when you too get the call to speak on important issues.

"Personally I use SpeakerClock when timing the recording of YouTube videos. This way I never run over the maximum 10 minutes there and the "traffic light" helps me nail my closing arguments every time!"

Je ne comprends pas l anglais et je ne sais pas comment cette application marche???

Globalement satisfait

Lapplication est simple et efficace. Je lutilise de temps en temps.

Bait-and-switch at its worst

Buying the ability to have more than one preset time is in itself wrong, as it is not a bonus, but an essential feature which is removed from a PAID app to strongarm you into paying more. If this very simple app were free, Id gladly pay to have the full version. As I have foolishly paid just to see if it would fit my needs I refuse to pony up a dime even.

Sehr praktikabel

Ich werde es demnächst mal live testen. Ich finde, dass der ampelstatus größer sein könnte und dass es anfängt zu blinken, wenn es wechselt.

Nice App

Its intuitive and does the job. Must-have for TED fans :)

Sweet

This small gem does it all. Set speaking time, tap, go. Nicest feature: changing speaking times by swiping. I usually like to use an old analog pocket watch when I give a talk, but I loved this app from the start. The LED/TED-display is bright and crisp and the numbers easily. Nice tool for teaching/training session, and also in the home. Only disadavantage I can see: Like all timers it may keep you standing next to where you put it. But then there is so much more to giving a great talk than getting the time right :)

style over usabillity

Classic example of a program that sacrifices style over usability. If youre happy with the presets, then all is well. But changing the timer settings (especially changing the values for the yellow and the red light) is needlessly complicated. Instead of all the swiping, a screen with a simple normal form for entering these settings (as in Apples alarm app) would have been so much easier to use. And making the feature to save more than one preset an in-app purchase is insulting. I wouldnt have minded paying a little bit more, but I feel insulted when I am blackmailed into spending more just to get basic functionality.
