There is also the opportunity to read the application in portrait and landscape modes. Really liked the built-in search, as well as the possibility of moving to scroll text.

Sun Wu (better known as Sun Tzu), was an ancient Chinese military general and strategist who is traditionally believed to have authored “The Art of War”, an influential ancient Chinese book on military strategy considered to be a prime example of Taoist thinking.
Sun Tzu has had a significant impact on Chinese and Asian history and culture, both as an author of The Art of War and through legend. During the 19th and 20th centuries, Sun Tzus The Art of War grew in popularity and saw practical use in Western society, and his work has continued to influence both Asian and Western culture and politics.
Historians have questioned whether or not Sun Wu was an authentic historical figure. Traditional accounts place him in the Spring and Autumn Period of China (722–481 BC) as a military general serving under King Helü of Wu, who lived c. 544—496 BC. Scholars accepting his historicity place his supposed writing "The Art of War" in the Warring States Period (476–221 BC), based on the descriptions of warfare in the text. Traditional accounts state that his descendant, Sun Bin, also wrote a treatise on military tactics, titled Sun Bins Art of War. (Both Sun Wu and Sun Bin were referred to as Sun Tzu in classical Chinese writings, and some historians thought that Sun Wu was in fact Sun Bin until Sun Bins own treatise was discovered in 1972.)

Very useful book! Everyone in it will find a lot of clever sayings!
Unfortunate
This content can be obtained from Project Gutenburg for free. I bought this app for in hopes of a good presentation of the work, how it portrayed the information, obviously not the information itself. I expected to flip pages, zoom, highlight, maybe even a dictionary, if needed. But, I found no such attributes. At this point, do not waste your money on this nonsense. Download google books, search and read for free. This an over simplified version of everything this app COULD be. It is unfortunate, because it has potential, if the developer wasnt trying to churn out apps with only profit in mind. I will gladly write a positive review once these issues are addressed.

This application contains one of the great works on earth! Many military leaders, politicians, businessmen and scientists have used the text of the work to their advantage to achieve excellent results. And they succeeded! The application itself is universal and I can use it on the iPod iPad iPhone! Wonderful search engine built into the application. Using it can quickly find the desired fragment to be read. The application has the ability to change text size, background color and text. It is also possible to work in the application in landscape and portrait modes. 5 stars for this application is unique!
