Superheat is a refrigerant charging calculator for the iPhone/iPod Touch. This simple to use application allows you to choose between two refrigerant types (R410A and R22), and will calculate the proper charge by choosing wet bulb, dry bulb and the vapor pressure and temperature.

Future planned updates include a fully custom UI as well as the addition of other refrigerants as requested.

Great app

The upgrade is right on the money. R22 or 410A. The two refrigerants I us everyday. Also I am able to pick the refrigerant I want as the default. 5 stars in my book. Keep up the great work Dan. I will pass on the word about your HVAC programs.

Vapor pressure (r22)

Bad thing about this calculator is that vapor pressure (r22) starts at 61 psi. Im checking system that is low on refrigirant 45 psi . I cant use this calculator if pressure in the system is lower than 61 psi.

Good job!

I just like better how the old versions looks like, but this app works!!

Not thought through

A little hard to get superheat without input for outside ambient.

It blows

Doesnt account for problems like poor air flow or dirty coils. Gives false recommendations. Can you say over charge?

Cool

Would be ok if it worked

IOS4 Fixed

Thanks for fix. Works great now.
