I’ve downloaded a bunch of separate improv apps, but this is the most comprehensive one I’ve found. I’m on the iTi board and was very excited to hear about progress on the app this last year, but it exceeded my expectations when it launched. The games, timer, and suggestion generator make it into an all-in-one reference for groups during rehearsals or during actual shows, TS or otherwise. Congrats to the LA TS team for a job well-done!

Created for the International Theatresports™ Institute and improvisers everywhere Theatresports™ was created in 1977 by Keith Johnstone. Theatresports™ has grown from one theatre company in Calgary, Canada to over 70 improvisation companies in 20 countries.

Create a list of your favorite games, add your notes to those games, print and share them with others. Even create and store you own improv games. Hundreds of suggestions at your fingertips. From locations and emotions, animals and adjective, to occupations relationships, as well as genres for film, theatre, television, music and literature. Shake the suggestion box to get a completely random suggestion.
