Cette app est super. On prépare son voyage chez soi comme avec un guide touristique papier puis une fois sur place la fonction GPS permet de visiter en suivant litinéraire choisi ou crée, sans risque de se perdre. Je lai utilisé pour Tokyo et Kyoto, et cétait parfait. Je nhésiterai pas à en acheter dautres pour mes futurs voyages et recommande ces app à tous les voyageurs.

Very limited
Very limited as you dont have an easy access to the on line map. When you try to find yourself the app has a bug which keeps referring you to a dead end in settings. A cheap although wasteful money. In general looks a good idea but seems to lack of testing on the run. Good for give you attractions but you need to have other means to get you there.

You need data roaming in Tokyo, otherwise you cant use this app, useless! I dont understand why youre writing about offline working of the app! I was last week in Tokyo and had no maps!
Wait for version 2
Used this for a full day whilst in Tokyo, here are my thoughts: + a great premise, self guided walking tours with photos of what you are looking at and a description - the map and GPS just dont work well. Firstly the map isnt very detailed, so you cant zoom in to see really where you are. Especially as Tokyo has little side streets. Secondly the GPS doesnt always work, you are forever waiting for it to "find me" and it should integrate with the compass to tell you whether you are going in the right direction - a long delay upon opening ~ 8 seconds of waiting, and when you are switching back and forth from the compass and subway map it seems to take forever - needs more local information on the tours, there are some major spots missing e.g. Tsukiji - lastly a search function and a whats near me function - $5 is a bit of a stretch for all the above problems

great real-time mapping that can help you navigate when you cant speak the language. used in conjunction with presselites metro/subway guide and you cant get lost.
Poor performance
I was very disappointed in this app. Just returned from Tokyo, but was unable to get it to work on my 3GS running iOS 4. - Seems to have bug in drawing the maps. When zooming (by pinching) or panning (by swiping), only some blocks of the map would move, and the rest would not be redrawn. - Map info is stored in layers, but they were often out of sync. For example, a tour route might move left & right when swiped, but rest of map does not. - Never once got it to "find me". Very bad, even for free, but for $5? Terrible.

This app is a rip-off. It does not open and is worthless. I reported it to the originators and to I tunes and have heard nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Less than 1 star.
