Also known as “Tunk”, “Texas Tunk” or “Knot” it is a kind of knock rummy card game that has now become wildly popular in the US. It was popular with blues and jazz musicians in southern Louisiana in the 1930’s and 1940’s, including Duke Ellingtons orchestra, and was played during breaks in the back rooms of bars.
Tonk League has all the rules of the original card game and while is it played with 5 cards it is somewhat similar to Gin Rummy.
